He has announced that there will be two deputy CM posts in Seemandhra. He said one would be allotted to a BC candidate and another would be allocated to the Kapu community.
Now, the rumour in political circles is that one candidate is already decided. Yes, many feel that the post would go to Pawan Kalyan.
Right now, ex CM and TDP head has no option but to make tall promises prior to the elections.
His party has lost consistently during the last two general elections and it has been defeated during the last four by-elections.
So, he is trying all options to get people to vote for him. And his latest comment is being seen as hilarious by various political observers.
Coming to Pawan Kalyan, he started his party Jana Sena and instead of promoting it, he has been campaigning for the TDP-BJP alliance.
He is striving to make sure that the TDP wins in Seemandhra and that the BJP gets power in the Centre. Given this scenario, his fans and supporters feel that there is nothing wrong in Pawan Kalyan being given the deputy CM’s post.
But Pawan has all along maintained that he did not come into politics for power and position.
So, will he take up the post if it is offered to him? For this to happen, TDP must come to power in Seemandhra, only then will there be some clarity on the issue.
